Tommy And Crystal Powell

Former wrestlers, the Powells decided to create GCW after they retired from wrestling in the early 2000s. Tommy was a regional wrestler who wrestled for Texas Wrestling League and other small Southern promotions while Crystal was one of Angel Athletic Association's first champions in the late 90s. Their idea to start their own promotion came from noticing a lack of wrestling promotions in the southeast. Seeing a golden opportunity, the Powells used most of their savings to invest in GCW and the rest is history.
